A Retail Pop-Up Designed for the Global Game

adidas Home of Soccer set out to create a destination within the FIFA World Cup 2026 cultural moment—an immersive retail pop-up that brought fans closer to the spirit of the tournament through product, storytelling, and personalization.

The Sourced Studio was brought in to design and produce a custom collection of interactive accessories that would live inside the pop-up experience. The goal was simple: create products that fans wouldn’t just shop—but actively engage with, customize, and take part in.

This wasn’t a traditional activation. It was a retail environment built around live personalization, collectible design, and soccer culture at a global scale.

Building a Custom Retail Experience Through Product

Our approach focused on designing a system of products that could function both as retail items and live customization pieces while celebrating the game of soccer.

We developed a modular charm with paracord personalization setup that allowed guests to build accessories in real time. We also designed a event exclusive luggage tag that combined pre-designed elements with on-site personlization through engraving.

Every detail was intentionally designed for speed, scalability, and interaction—ensuring the experience could handle high foot traffic while still feeling personal.

Custom Luggage Tags & Trionda Bag Charms

For adidas Home of Soccer, we designed an exclusive set of retail-ready accessories inspired by FIFA World Cup 2026.

This included:

  • Custom engraved luggage tags, personalized live on-site
  • Trionda soccer ball bag charms designed for paracord styling
  • Country flag charms representing participating nations
  • Soccer-inspired collectible add-ons for customization

Each product was created to be both a keepsake and a storytelling object—something fans could wear, gift, or collect long after the event.

A Retail Pop-Up Built Around Participation

Throughout the event, guests didn’t just shop—they created.

Visitors personalized luggage tags through live engraving, created custom bag charms at our paracord station, combining flags, soccer motifs, and travel-inspired elements. We also had a charm bar which featured countries playing in the World Cup.

The booth stayed consistently active, with guests engaging in real-time customization and returning to build multiple pieces. The interactive format transformed the retail moment into a hands-on creative experience.

Even with high demand, the flow remained seamless thanks to a modular setup designed for speed and clarity.

Turning Retail Into an Interactive Product Moment

The success of this pop-up came from designing the experience through product, not around it.

Instead of treating accessories as static merchandise, each piece was built to be customized, assembled, or completed in real time. This created:
