Rooted in Your Power Agenda: Jewelry-Making with The Lower Eastside Girls Club, Kinnect by Kith, and New Balance
On November 11th, The Sourced Studio had the incredible opportunity to be part of the Rooted in Your Power Agenda, an empowering event hosted by The Lower Eastside Girls Club, Kinnect by Kith, and New Balance. The event brought together creativity, community, and confidence — and we were honored to lead a hands-on jewelry-making workshop for the girls in attendance.
A Day Rooted in Creativity and Connection
Our team guided participants through the process of designing and creating their own custom charm bracelets or necklaces. Each girl had the chance to express her personal style and story through her jewelry — choosing from a curated selection of charms representing identity, culture, and self-expression.
Before the event, we created a special collection of custom charms exclusively for the Rooted in Your Power Agenda. These included:
- Flag charms representing diverse backgrounds and cultures
- NYC-themed charms inspired by the city’s iconic energy
- Girly and fun charms that radiated personality
- Lower Eastside Girls Club charms engraved in-house by us
Seeing each participant thoughtfully select her charms and piece together something uniquely hers was truly inspiring. It was a beautiful reminder that jewelry can be more than an accessory — it can be a form of empowerment and storytelling.
