Going Full-Time: The Story Behind The Sourced Studio
Share
For a long time, going full-time didn’t feel like a question — it felt overdue.
If you asked me as a kid what I wanted to be, I would’ve said a fashion designer… or Shakira. (For the record, I did hug Shakira once on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which honestly still counts for something.)
I didn’t become either of those things — but I did find my way into building something just as meaningful: creating pieces and experiences that people get to wear, interact with, and keep.
From Fashion to Product Development
I’m Tania Reyes, a Dominican-American creative with a background in fashion and consumer goods.
After graduating from FIT, I built my career in product development — working behind the scenes to bring ideas to life for brands like Celsius, Rare Beauty, Sol de Janeiro, Gap, and more.
I watched products move from concept to shelves, into people’s hands, and onto social feeds through unboxings and everyday use.
That experience shaped how I think about consumer connection, branding, and experiential marketing — not just what people buy, but how they experience a brand.
The Beginning of The Sourced Studio
The Sourced Studio didn’t start as a business plan — it started as a creative outlet.
During the pandemic, I began experimenting with custom jewelry and small-scale concepts, exploring how product and experience could intersect. What started as something personal quickly evolved into something more.
One launch turned into another.
Then into collaborations.
Then into interactive brand activations and event experiences.
And before I knew it, The Sourced Studio had grown into a creative studio focused on custom brand experiences and event activations.
Building a Brand Around Experience
Today, The Sourced Studio sits at the intersection of product and experience.
We specialize in interactive brand activations, event and product customization, and experiential marketing for brands and corporate events — creating moments that feel personal, elevated, and memorable.
From custom charm bars to live engraving to permanent jewelry experiences, every activation is designed to invite participation.
Because the goal isn’t just to make something beautiful — it’s to create something people remember, share, and associate with your brand long after the event ends.
